Concept Kitchen + Bar, operates a natural preserve food + beverage innovation center on Vashon Island, located in the heart of the Puget Sound between Tacoma and Seattle.
Cietal (Seattle), is an endearing spelling to our founding team as this was a common spelling of our city headquarters in our infancy. Many of our first international and local clients have roots in Southern Indian, Malaysia, and surrounding regions.
Being Native Pac Northwester’s, it was wildly interesting that an international city not easy to phonetically pronounce was not more wildly spelled around the globe prior to the HTML era, from this tiny scratch in the retina of sound mind and spirit, the wall paper was shredded on our tiny culinary consulting firm and it was obvious that from one corner of precious earth a “looking glass” of an ecosystem could be observed and shared in a beneficial application that food + beverage could once again be a cradle to societies humanity.
For CK+B, we do that from the front porch and back door of our kitchen, while bellying up to a bar counter to “hash the proper”.
Our goal is to eventually protect, tend, observe, and report from over 600 acres of Vashon Island, observations for a better food + beverage network.
